Fall

Fall is definitely here!! We have closed our windows and have introduced the heat in the house. Coughing and runny noses have roared their ugly faces. Shopping for new warm clothes, in all sized, has begun. Chilly mornings and some warmer afternoons have arrived. The leaves are changing, the trees are becoming bare, and the driveway has become a colorful canvas that you hate to have to drive over. Next weekend, the kids will be making their own wreaths for our doors with all of the beautiful fall colors. That is what makes living in the mountains so special. As my Aunt Dorothy puts it, "Looking at these mountains this time of year looks like someone has gone through and sponge painted". It's just gorgeous!!!
