My very good friend Ann, who also is my co-worker and afterschool sitter, gave me the idea to dye shirts. She did this with her 4 children and they all came out awesome. The kiddos were so excited to get started that they could hardly stop long enough to smile for the camera. It's very easy and doesn't take anytime. Well, except the rubber banding of the shirts did. You start with plain white T-Shirts
We used RIT coloring that was bought at our local Arts and Crafts store to make the orange. You can do it in your sink, however it will leave a nice tint of of orange residue, or in a bucket. The less water, the more color you will see.
TA DA!!! We had alot of fun. Once this was finished, we let the shirts dry overnight and completed with Halloween fabric stamps in each of the tie dyed circles.
